Biography

Maryam Shojaei Baghini received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, in 1991 and 1999, respectively. She worked for more than 2 years in industry on the design of analog ICs. In 2001, she joined Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT-Bombay, as a Postdoctoral Fellow, where she is currently a Professor. She has published more than 220 peer reviewed international journal and conference papers. She is the inventor/co-inventor of 6 granted US patents, 1 granted Indian patent and 43 more filed patent applications. Her research areas span from devices and sensors to the integrated instrumentation circuits & sensor systems, energy harvesting circuits and systems, and analog/mixed-signal/RF design for emerging applications. Dr. Shojaei has served as in the Technical Program Committee of several IEEE conferences including recently as track chair in IEEE Sensors Conference 2018. She was a TPC member of IEEE-ASSC from 2009 to 2014. Dr. Shojaei is the joint recipient of 12 awards of which the most recent award is the best paper award in International VLSI Design Conference 2019.
