Prof. Ying Zhang
Dr. Ying Zhang is a Professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She is the director of the Sensors and Intelligent Systems Laboratory at Georgia Tech. Her research interests focus on systems-level interdisciplinary problems in wireless sensor networks, internet of things, biomedical engineering, and intelligent monitoring and diagnostic systems. She has published more than 100 technical papers in international journals and conferences in multiple engineering disciplines. Dr. Zhang received the Lockheed Martin Dean's Excellence in Teaching Award in 2012, NSF Early Faculty Career Development (CAREER) Award in 2013, Hesburgh Award Teaching Fellow in 2017, TechConnect National Innovation Award in 2017, and TechConnect Defense Innovation Award in 2017. Dr. Zhang is an Associate Editor of the IEEE Sensors Journal.
